Stade de Reims, founded in 1931, is a French football club based in Reims, Champagne-Ardenne. Historically significant, the team was a dominant force in French football during the 1950s, winning six Ligue 1 titles, and enjoyed success in European competitions, reaching the inaugural European Cup finals in 1956 and 1959. The team plays its home matches at the Stade Auguste Delaune, with a capacity of around 21,600 spectators. Reims is known for its vibrant red and white colors. After various ups and downs, the club was promoted to Ligue 1 in 2018 and continues to strive for success in the top tier of French football.
